How we work
Four steps, each with something you can hold: a call, a written proposal, a repository, a running system.
step 1
Call
A free 30-minute scoping call. You explain the product and the constraints; we ask the questions that decide the architecture.
step 2
Proposal
Scope, timeline and price in writing within days. Fixed scope or time and materials, you pick. Any change after that is agreed in writing.
step 3
Build
Weekly demos of working software. You see the repository from day one, with tests, CI and a preview deploy for every change.
step 4
Launch and support
Handover with documentation and a runbook, not a zip file. An optional retainer for the months after, if you want us close.

Why teams hire us

Everyone on your project has built and operated production systems for years. No juniors learning on your budget, no account managers between you and the engineers.
Robust and efficient by default.
Tests, observability and performance budgets are part of the definition of done, not a later phase. We design for the load you will have, not only the load you have today.
We say no.
If a feature should not be built, or a simpler path exists, we say so before you pay for it. Judgement is the larger part of what you hire.
You own everything.
The code, the repository, the infrastructure and the accounts are yours from the first commit. Leaving us is easy by design.

Questions we get on the first call
How do you price?
Two ways: a fixed price for a fixed scope when the requirements are clear, or time and materials billed weekly when they are still moving. Both are quoted in writing after the scoping call, and we tell you which one fits before you choose.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Send yours or use ours; we sign before the first detailed conversation. What you share in the scoping call is treated as confidential whether or not an NDA is in place.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes, and we do it often: owning one workstream end to end, pairing with your engineers, or taking a platform or infrastructure piece off their plate. We work in your repository, your issue tracker and your review process.
What stack do you use?
Yours, if you have one. We are fluent in TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, Java, C# and Swift and the ecosystems around them. For greenfield work we recommend a stack based on your team and the hiring market, not on our preferences.
How fast can you start?
Usually within one to two weeks of a signed proposal. The scoping call can happen this week.
